A specification or price that looks wrong

The most valuable mail we get. Specifications here are the manufacturer's published figures and prices are indicative, so both drift — a CADR quoted for a different regional variant, a filter grade that changed mid-production, a price that has not been true since last season. Tell us the model and what you saw, ideally with the retailer or manufacturer page you saw it on, and it gets corrected at the source rather than patched on one page.

A purifier we should be covering

The catalogue is deliberately small — twenty-five models, each one there because it is genuinely purchasable in India or China — which guarantees it has gaps. If a machine is widely sold in either market and is not here, say which market and roughly what it costs. We cannot promise every suggestion is added: a model earns its place by being findable, by publishing real specifications, and by beating something already in its band on a dimension the finder actually scores.

Manufacturers and distributors are welcome to write in the same way, with the same outcome. Listings are not for sale, submissions do not become recommendations, and there is no placement to buy — see About for why the scoring engine cannot be reached from the commerce side at all.

Data protection

Access, correction or deletion requests, and any question about what this site measures, go to the same address. This site has no accounts and no forms, so in most cases there is simply nothing held about you — but ask and you will get a straight answer rather than a template. The privacy policy names who is responsible for the data and lists exactly what is collected.

What to expect

This is a small, independently run site rather than a company with a support desk.
